The Rotary Club of Blackwood is holding a Swinging Sunday event in the Blackwood Memorial Hall, Coromandel Parade Blackwood on 14 June 2009 between 2.00pm and 5.00pm.

The event will include the Barry Messner Jazz Trio, the St John's Grammar School Stage Band and a Bush Poet. There will be funfilled games and raffles. Bring along a bottle of wine and some nibbles and enjoy a cabaret style event.

Tickets are $10 per person with funds going to Shelter Box which is a Rotary initiative which provides temporary accomodation for displaced people. Shelter box provided hundred of tents in Victoria following the bushfires and is always in need of new tents for displaced people all over the world.
