The venue for the 2009 AutoFest is the Mount Gambier showgrounds which offers an ideal location with its unique, ready-made roadways suited to driving events and display areas set on landscaped surrounds. AutoFest is all about admiring the best cars in the land and spending quality time with family and friends, whilst witnessing some of the most powerful cars compete side by side in events such as Go To Whoa, Motorkana, Show N Shine, Car Audio Competition, Dyno Challenge and the fiercely competitive Burnout Title.

The Mount Gambier Event is alcohol free and thus promotes a true family atmosphere where spectators are able to enjoy the enthusiasm and excitement of a motor vehicle event in a friendly environment.
